James Milner of Manchester City is the most recent player to be linked with a move to the emirates. James Milner is reportedly unhappy at Manchester City as he has found first team opportunity hard to come by with Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri preferred to him. Also, Milner prefers to play in the midfield position but the presence of Yaya Toure, Fernandinho and Javi Garcia has pushed him to the wings. The midfielder is one of the few home grown at Manchester city therefore the club may be unwilling to let him leave. Arsenal are favourites to sign the player though Liverpool are also interested.
In other news, Mario Mandzukic is another Wenger's transfer target. The manager has been handed a new three year contract worth £8 million and he is set to sign within the next three days. He has also been handed a transfer kitty worth £100 million and signing a striker wil take up chunk of that money.
