FA Cup victory still the talk of the moment for all Arsenal supporters around the world. After nine years, Arsenal finally won the trophy and it was enough to bring smile to all the faces of all associated with the club as this season was filled with so many disappointing performances but at last all fans can breathe the air of relief and success as the trophy drought finally comes to an end.
Now the FA Cup is won, what next? As many people already noted that the FA Cup victory can be a springboard for more successes in the future, now is the time to start building towards it. A lot is needed to build and sustain a winning team that can go on winning for years. Its nice that Arsene Wenger will renew his contract and stay on at the club for three more years as it is necessary for continuity. Arsene Wenger has been working towards building a competitive team for a long time now and now that his team has finally done it, all he needs to do now is strengthen the squad by bringing in quality players. At least four quality players are needed if Wenger wants his team to be taken seriously next season.
Firstly, Olivier Giroud performed well this season but he needs help. Arsene Wenger believes in Ozil and so he may not necessarily buy a player that will replace him but only buy one that can complement him. In the other positions, players like Lars Bender, Alexis Sanchez, Angel Di Maria and many others have already been linked and at least two of these players is needed to add steel and creativity to the team. As Sagna and Fabianski are about to exit the club, replacements are needed to fill their positions also.
As things stand now, Wenger needs to get his business started early to avoid being scouring for leftovers
