Arsene Wenger may have publicly stated his desire to still be at the club next season, but that does not mean other clubs around Europe won't be lurking around the corner. one of such clubs is Monaco and they have always made it clear that Arsene wenger remains a favourite to take over the reins at the club whenever there is vacancy. The ligue 1 club are ready to dismiss Claudio Ranieri and are willing to replace him with Arsene Wenger who left the club in 1994. Wenger has stalled on putting pen to paper for some time now and though he has publicly said he will stay with the club, he may decide against it if Arsenal fails to meet its remaining objective which is to win the FA cup.

The defender who has formed a formidable partnership with Per mertesacker this season has finally committed his future to the club. The defender had attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United but he has now snubbed them to remain at Arsenal . He joins the list of first team players like Mertesacker, Cazorla, Ramsey and others who have already been given new contracts.
