Lukasz Fabianski who is currently on the last year of his contract may
well join scottish club Celtic who are already this season's league
champions. The 28-year old shot stopper has rejected an offer of a 3
year extension from Arsenal and it is almost certain he will not be an
Arsenal player next season as he seeks to ply his trade elsewhere.
FC Basle, Schalke and Sevilla are among the clubs to have shown
interest in him while championship outfit Liecester city is also
rumoured to be interested. The goal keeper has been the preferred
choice for all Arsenal FA cup matches this season and even stood in
for club no 1 when he was on suspension for the champions league
second leg match against Bayern Munich. He has found first team
opportunities hard to come by as Sczesny is preferred to him but he
has made spectacular saves in the matches he has featured this season.
