Alexis Sanchez has finally joined Arsenal in a £31.8million deal. The Chilean midfielder who represented his country in Brazil2014 FIFA World Cup and had an impressive outing only to be sent packing by host nation Brazil has finally been made an Arsenal player in what could probably be the biggest name to join any English club this summer. Despite interest from a host of other clubs including Liverpool and Juventus, the winger who Wenger believes can be developed into a forward decided to move to Arsenal. This represents a step in the right direction for Arsenal and serves as relief for Arsenal fans all around the world who had thought this transfer window would be like previous ones given the show pace at which Arsenal moves for players. Many fans will however have reason to be happy and look forward to a premier league title next as deals for French Internationals Debuchy and Loic Remy remains just a few paper work for it to be completed. Arsene Wenger is also in the market for a holding midfielder and a central defender to replace club captain Thomas Vermaelen who may eventually leave.
