It was heading towards a win for Arsenal yesterday as quickfire double
goals from Lukas podolski and Olivier Giroud scored both in the 73rd
and 74th minute to bring Arsenal into the lead from 1-0 down but it
was not to be a win for Arsenal though as a calamitous own goal from
Flamini late at the end of the game turned elation into weariness for
the fans as the 2-2 draw is not the perfect response they would have
expected after a 6-0 mauling in the hands of Chelsea. Manager Arsene
wenger refused though to criticise his team as he reckoned they were
in the game and could have won if not for own goal.
Ramsey adds to Arsene wenger's injury concern after it was said that
he will be out for a further 2weeks. The manager made it known that he
had suffered a setback and will not be available before 2weeks to help
Arsenal's season.
