PRAYER FOR
NIGERIA
I pray for my country Nigeria
That she will always live without
fear
Her beauty will shine like the sun
A good mum is what she shall become
I pray
I pray for my country Nigeria
That honest children will she
continue to bear
And the children will live as one
To assure her of peace so strong
I pray
Her economy has been bad for so long
That the children fight just to live
on
I pray that the leaders shall wake
from their slumber
So this hardship shall become that
of the past
I pray
How can she guide her children when
there is no light?
How will she educate them when the
schools don’t teach right?
Where is security? The children
sleep in fear
I pray the roads are no more deadly
snares
I pray
I pray for my country Nigeria
