Phillip Lahm has said Mesut Ozil needs a striker to help him at Arsenal. The midfielder arrived with expectations high of him but has not lived up to the expectation as he has struggled to make impact especially in big games this season. His international teammate however feels he will be devastating for Arsenal next season if Arsenal can sign the right striker for him this summer. Ozil who won his first trophy as an Arsenal player on may 17th was accused of inability to fight on during big matches according to goal.com.
"Anybody who has played with Mesut will tell you how intelligent he is as a player," Lahm told Goal. "His vision is probably the best I have ever seen and that is why it is so important to have the right striker ahead of him. "He is a dream for strikers and you saw that with [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Karim] Benzema when he was at Madrid. If Arsenal can find the right striker who is fast and makes intelligent runs - then Mesut will be devastating next season."
