Mesut Ozil believes FA Cup win will serve as springboard for success. This is also the belief of many of his teammates as the likes of Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Per Mertesacker had already said the FA Cup trophy will pave way for future successes. Ozil, 25 years had a tough first season at the emirates and the German playmaker believes his £42 million price tag placed a heavy burden on him. Despite his tough first season at the emirates, Ozil has shown in matches that he is capable of producing the defence splitting passes that made him one of the best midfielders and assist makers in the world during his time at madrid. The midfielder has returned from injury and is expected to help Arsenal's cause for the FA Cup title, the first trophy in almost nine years.
Ozil believes Arsenal can go from strength to strength after winning the FA cup as the club looks to strengthen the team in the needed areas this summer.
Ozil also pointed out that this is the first time he had gone through the winter without a break and also pointed out that he had his first muscle injury this season. All these might be the reason why he didn't perform up to the level expected of him but now he is convinced Arsenal can win the trophy. He reckoned that all teams in England fight till the end unlike in spain where teams give up after going 2-0 down.
