He was Arsenal's best player before be was injured and he has not
kicked a ball for Arsenal since boxing day last year. He has been out
with a thigh injury and it was a huge blow for the team as his absence
was felt. The welsh man have had setbacks as he is supposed to have
returned earlier but it now seems he can still play a part in
Arsenal's FA cup title challenge. He is expected to resume full
training by the end of next week. The decision as to whether he will
feature against wigan will depend on how he tracts to training and if
there are no complications, then Wembley date with wigan is a
possibility.
Mesut ozil, out since Arsenal's clash against Bayern munich is
nearing return also. His injury has taken longer than expected but it
is now realistic to expect him back before the end of the season. He
may well be back after the FA cup clash. Arsenal have allowed the
German to step up his recovery with physios back in Germany and
progress is been made.
Laurent Koscielny, who is out injured also will be available for
selection at wembley. Jack wilshere has also made significant progress
in his return from injury.
