Coming from last season's FA cup victory against Hull City, Arsenal has started the season on a high again as they defeated fellow title contenders Manchester City in today's English football season curtain raiser. The Arsenal team has Sanogo, Cazorla, Sanchez, Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta, Gibbs, Koscielny, Chambers, Debuchy and Sczesny in the starting lineup and they had most of the possession. Goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey secured a 2-0 first half lead. Olivier Giroud came in for Yaya Sanogo in the second half and scored a spectacular goal to beat City goalkeeper and put Arsenal 3-0 ahead. Second half went in till the 90th minute but 3-0 it stayed till the end.
