The Arsenal manager's chat with Mesut ozil at the London colney
training ground yesterday assured the player of his importance to the
club's plans. As reported on dailymirror.co.uk , Arsene wenger had a
heart to heart talk with the player and he is still central to his
plans. The playmaker had been mentally down since missing a penalty in
the champions league first leg against bayern and the French manger
has told him that his door is always open to him. Ozil suffered injury
on tuesday in the first half of the champions league encounter with
bayern munich and now it seems he will be out for up to six weeks.
Ozil played the whole of first half and though he was not aware he was
already injured. The player may be ready to feature again in the FA
cup semi final clash with wigan but not earlier than that. He will
therefore miss Arsenal's upcoming fixtures which includes tottenham,
swansea, chelsea.
Aaron Ramsey however is struggling to be fit for the weekend clash
against tottenham but the likes of Yaya sanogo, Kerian Gibbs, Kim
kallstrom and Nicklas Bendtner are back in contention.
